Is the paid Beta open?
No. We are preparing a small, invitation-based Beta. Current authorized Alpha testing remains no-money. No launch date, paid Scout opportunity, or guaranteed place in Beta is being offered.
Can I join as both a requester and a Scout?
Yes. Use the two existing interest forms with your own account. Each records a separate interest; neither grants Scout authority or enrolls you in a Test Window.
Which places and activities will be included?
The proposed first Beta focuses on a small set of public Orange County Swell Spots. Exact Spots and dates will be confirmed in each invitation. Snow and Skate interest is for future planning only.
How will requests work?
The intended flow lets a requester propose a Scout budget and an eligible Scout accept or negotiate. Observations follow agreement. Paid terms, platform fees, charge timing, cancellations, and refunds will be explained before paid participation is offered. No money moves in current Alpha testing.
Does joining guarantee a report or earnings?
No. Scout availability and voluntary acceptance vary by place and time. Joining does not promise fulfillment, earnings, immediate access, or a Founding Scout designation.
What should I share in an interest form?
Use a general area, public Spot names, realistic availability, and the kind of observations you need or can provide. Do not include private coordinates, home addresses, identity documents, bank details, or sensitive personal information.
What happens after I submit?
Your confirmation appears on screen. Founders review interest for coverage and availability, and selected participants are contacted separately. Automatic email receipts are not currently provided. Contact support if you want to correct or withdraw your interest.
Questions, feedback, or a change of plans?
Use support to ask a question, correct your interest, or request withdrawal. Support hours for an operating window will be included in its invitation. ScoutSeek is not an emergency service.
